Agilisys welcomes new colleagues to their Guernsey team

States of Guernsey Information Systems and Services team transfers to Agilisys

Agilisys is delighted to welcome 58 States of Guernsey employees to their Guernsey operation. The transfer, effective 3rd November, coincided with the conclusion of formal contract negotiations for the 10-year £200m Future Digital Services Partnership approved by the States in June.

The transferring staff are joining Agilisys’ wider team of over 1500 technology and digital transformation experts who support public sector organisations to improve services for communities across the UK.

Shona Leavey, Head of IT Change and a member of the team who has transferred to Agilisys, said ‘We’re all really excited to be joining a respected technology and transformation specialist. The move opens up some great opportunities for us to professionalise our service whilst learning new skills and getting a wider experience across a broader range of IT capabilities. We have been working alongside Agilisys Guernsey employees for some time now, so the formal conclusion of the partnership agreement and our transfer means we are able to get on with delivering services as one team.’

Richard Hanrahan, Agilisys Guernsey CEO commented, ‘Welcoming new employees is always a pleasure and everyone at Agilisys is delighted that our new colleagues from the States of Guernsey are now formally part of our team. Together we have an unprecedented opportunity to modernise IT services, enable the States' ambitious programme of public service reform and help unlock Guernsey’s digital potential for the benefit of the whole island. It’s my privilege to be leading the Agilisys Guernsey team and I’m looking forward to working together with all my colleagues to deliver positive outcomes for Guernsey.’
