Agilisys Guernsey names new Head of IT Services

Agilisys Guernsey, the States of Guernsey’s technology and transformation partner, has appointed Shona Leavey to the role of Head of IT Services.

This is a key leadership position for the business as the team prepares to roll out transformed IT Services across the States later this summer. It also follows the recent announcement of a further 6 new appointments to the team, endorsing the organisation’s commitment to the local economy and digital skills development.

Formerly Agilisys Guernsey’s Head of IT Change, Shona transferred from the States of Guernsey to Agilisys in November 2019, alongside 57 other States of Guernsey Information Systems and Services colleagues.

In her new role, Shona will lead a team of more than 50 IT professionals responsible for business as usual services as well as bringing into service the transformed IT estate.

Other appointments over recent weeks include:

  • Two new hires in Information Security - Adrian Tayler as Head of Information Security, and Simon Stuart as Security Analyst
  • Two new hires in Supply Chain Management - David Osborne as a Contract Manager and Roselyn Mutongerwa as a Supply Chain Analyst
  • Business Administration - Frankie Malledent as Business Support Administrator
  • Projects Management Ruskin Snow as a Transition Manager
